Learning the Multiplication Table
The multiplication tables are taught in grades 1, 2, 3 and 4 in most schools, and students must master them in grades 5, 6, 7 and 8. In some schools, all multiplication tables are taught in grade 3. As far as we know, 1's, 2's, 5's and 10's multiplication tables are usually taught in grade 1. In the 2nd and 3rd grades, 3's, 4's, 6's, 7's, 8's, and 9's multiplication tables and of course all multiplication tables are also taught in a mixed manner.
Not all children learn the multiplication table with the same ease; so it's good to continue doing the multiplication table exercises on a regular basis after 4th grade. Apart from that, there are some practical methods that make it easier to learn and master the multiplication tables in a simpler way. For example, for many children, it is easier to answer the multiplication table if the smallest digit is leading. For example, 4 x 9 is easier to do than 9 x 4. So you can find your answer more easily by reversing the multiplication operation. Another method that is often helpful is to find the sums of the more difficult multiplication tables based on well-versed multiplication tables. Here is an example: The 6 x 7 operation is often seen as a difficult operation. But if you do 5 x 7 first and add 1 x 7 to it, it suddenly becomes easier. You can also do the reverse, i.e. by subtracting 1 transaction. In 4 x 7, you can do 5 x 7 first and subtract 1 x 7 from it.
